EU Parliament giving dictation on Blasphemous Laws

Just when facebook got banned, EU Parliament woke up from dead. Is this right timing or just spanking the monkey again? Why is that so that they have issue over blasphemy law but they don't have issue over the misuse of so-called 'freedom of speech'?

According to our blasphemy law, its illegal to talk against our religion out in the open and in the closet. Don't you think EU should have respected our laws? Should have respected the religion of ours if not their own. I know ours might have issue but justifying no-blasphemy law for censorship isn't the right thing to do, I guess!!
The EU parliament Thursday called on Pakistan to guarantee minority rights, claiming that its blasphemy laws could be used to “murder” members of political, racial and religious minorities.

In a resolution adopted in Strasbourg, the assembled Euro MPs expressed “deep concern” at the Pakistani blasphemy laws, calling for a “thorough review” of the legislation, which is “open to misuse”.

The laws can carry the death sentence and are “often used to justify censorship, criminalisation, persecution and, in certain cases, the murder of members of political, racial and religious minorities,” the parliament said in a strongly-worded statement. The texts in question “are misused by extremist groups and those wishing to settle personal scores,” the EU deputies said. They had also “led to an increase of violence against members of religious minorities, particularly Ahmadis, but also Christians, Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis, Bahais and citizens who dare to raise their voice against injustice,” they added.

Who is adding fuel to the Ban-fire?

After the facebook ban in Pakistan, there are news and gossips circulating that Wikipedia and Youtube (Update: Reuters saying that Youtube banned apparently in Pakistan) are also going to be down for usage. I was just wondering how come?
And then I read this piece in daily 'The News'. Here is what the reporter "Moayyed Jafri" is saying

Other social networking websites such as Twitter, Orkut, Bebo, Zoosk and Hi5 hosting the blasphemous activity of holding the cartoon completion, have been left totally unchecked which totally fails the purpose of implementing the ban. In addition to the social networking sites, dozens of web-blogs intending to host the blasphemous activity on May 19 and 20 are accessible as well.
and then the reporter didn't stop there...

To a question regarding other websites and web-blogs, he said that the PTA was banning all websites involved in the blasphemous activity and a special screening unit had been formed to identify and ban all the sites.
Reporters like these needs to be told that dude, get a life!!! This guy thinks that banning all such websites will do good for Muslim Ummah. No, Sweet Heart, No!!!

Just wondering that why this guy didn't mentioned XVideos website whereas this website is the leading Porn site accessible from Pakistan [Ref: Alexa - http://www.alexa.com/topsites/countries;1/PK]

Hypocrites.... will go to Hell!!!

Pakistan's Naked Souls

Was just wondering that how clever of Zardari it is, to bail out Rehman Malik from the sentence of imprisonment? Idiotic as it seems. He has just called Rehman Malik a theif, a corrupt & lawless man. wondering why? because you only clear someone from sentence when he/she is proven guilty.
Kaira, who came forward and said that Rehman Malik was proven guilty when he was not in country. Dude, seriously?? Didn't he fled away sometime back then? Didn't Benazir said something about him in her book? Or are you just playing dumb here?  Saving someone's ass in this open media era is quite difficult, isn't it. But the ,let me say it in Urdu, BAISHARMI & BAIGHAIRTI has no limits. It prevents you from all the sane deeds.

Are we going for next bloody revolution sometime in near future? I just wish so....
