Hammad Akbar, a Pakistani national (From Lahore) was earlier arrested for creating/marketing a mobile application that monitors cellphone usage without informing the user about it. Application (Stealthgenie) runs on Blackberry, IPhone and Android based smartphones. Application was basically designed to monitor the activities of spouses (Cheating), children etc. But laws in the country don't allow such applications. This is what Govt quotes about his arrest
